Siege Test Preparations

Foundational fixes and features in preparation for the first public siege test. This patch addresses critical server stability issues, introduces battering ram mechanics, and adds ambient audio throughout the world.

Server

  • AddedBattering ram hit detection against gates and fortifications.
  • FixedResolved a server crash caused by cow entities being sent to clients on join.
  • FixedResolved an exploit where a staged prison cell could be used to imprison other players.
  • FixedCreating a faction now correctly applies the chosen banner colors.
  • FixedResolved a server crash on startup caused by the mission ticking before initialization.
  • FixedGates can now be properly damaged by siege engines.
  • FixedMonuments can now be repaired as intended.
  • FixedResolved an exploit allowing players to clip inside walls by mounting a horse.
  • FixedResolved an exploit that allowed players to duplicate horses.
  • FixedArrows and bolts are no longer duplicated on player death.

Client

  • AddedEntities can now be moved using the repair hammer.
  • AddedEntities can now be removed using the repair hammer.
  • AddedAmbient sounds for the happy boar, trade post, and wilderness areas.
  • AddedSound effect for primitive crafting.
  • AddedSound effect when joining a faction.
  • AddedSound effect for crop harvesting.
  • AddedSound effect for spawning a cow.
  • FixedStaged entities no longer disappear when placed near one another.
  • FixedResolved a client crash related to the spinning wheel.
  • ChangedImproved ballista rotation synchronization for all connected clients.
